Before Jaime opened his restaurant, he worked full-time for the city and his two sons became his motivation for self-improvement. In addition to working for the city, Jaime was also involved with catering for small events, which allowed him to meet many people. Unfortunately, he also underwent many adversities dealing with taxes and the daunting process of starting a business, but he was able to overcome these obstacles by keeping up with a budget. Jaime’s commitment to accommodate his customers’ needs also allowed him to become self-motivated and gain freedom. When he worked with EGBI, he mentioned how EGBI was very helpful because of the close approach that the classes had, that allowed him to grasp the information and learn new things.
