Yolanda Davila, Director
Yolanda has more than ten years of education and professional experience in public policy research and data collection, with an emphasis on fiscal and policy analysis. She currently serves as Community Relations Officer in the central and Texas region for BBVA Compass. She supports the bank’s corporate responsibility objectives for community outreach, reputation building, and business development. Most recently, Yoly was a performance analyst for the Texas Legislative Budget Board. This work involved the planning and development of performance reviews of governmental agencies, including evaluations for program economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. She conducted reviews to determine compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures and reports findings and recommendations to legislators. Prior to this Yolanda worked with Fitch Ratings, Charles A. Dana Center, Senator Shapleigh and Foundation Communities where she also served as chair of the board of directors. Born in El Paso to Mexican immigrants Yoly is a first generation college student.
She holds a master degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and an undergraduate degree in political science from Williams College.
