Creative Curriculum

At Cielito Lindo we have incorporated the Creative Curriculum as part of our lessons. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, Infants, Toddler, is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.

Approach

Our learning through play approach incorporates a variety of activities where children experience real life situations. Students abilities are developed through the use of art, music, drama, and hands on activities that promote each child’s individual development.

​Social and Emotional Development

At Cielito Lindo we understand the importance of the social and emotional development of each child. As part of our daily activities, students will engage in learning about their own feelings and how to manage their own emotions. A safe place will be provided in each classroom.

​Language Development

Language development is a critical part of a child’s overall development. This is how children learn to communicate with others. Our curriculum will focus on developing children’s language by implementing activities that promote the use of language in a variety of settings.
