From Caregiver to CEO empowers healthcare professionals such as nurses, home health aides, and caregivers working as 1099 contractors to build the business and financial skills needed to thrive as business owners. The workshop series supports independent healthcare professionals, both intentional and unintentional, in transitioning from contractor to business owner, creating financial independence and long-term stability.
Through six workshops, participants will learn how to formalize their businesses, manage finances, and strengthen their marketing and sales strategies, expanding care access and economic growth across Central Texas.

Participants will learn the benefits of business formalization, learning how to choose a structure, register legally, and apply best practices for success. By the end, they’re confident, prepared, and ready to lead their own business.
Class 2: Building Wealth with Purpose
Caregivers learn to separate business and personal finances, create budgets, price services, and track cash flow. They build simple tools to manage money confidently and plan for stability.
Class 3: Stand Out with Intention
Participants lay the foundation for future expansion through visibility and branding, social media, and professional profiles. They develop practical marketing and sales strategies to attract clients, build trust, and grow their care businesses (B2B or B2C).
Class 4 – Master Your Money
Participants gain control of their finances by learning simple bookkeeping and tax-readiness practices. The class covers organizing income and expenses, tracking profits, and preparing for tax season with confidence and clarity.
Class 5 – Increase Your Sales Now
Participants learn practical strategies to boost sales, retain clients, and expand their business reach. The class covers creating service packages, setting competitive prices, and leveraging referrals to grow income while maintaining balance and quality care for B2B and B2C.
Class 6 – Positioned for Growth
Caregivers receive a practical introduction to the basics of medical billing, invoicing, and HIPAA compliance. The class also explores funding options such as lending, bootstrapping, and other accessible ways to support business growth and financial readiness.
