Community Champion 2024 – GAHCC  

In October 2024, the Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI) received the 2024 Community Champion of the Year Award from the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC), reaffirming our commitment to small businesses in Central Texas. Executive Director Larissa Davila represented our team at the event.

Unlike traditional accelerators, EGBI supports aspiring business owners across industries with long-term coaching for profitability and sustainability. Originally a GAHCC pilot project, we’ve grown into an independent nonprofit, helping clients generate over $192.8 million in revenue and create 2,880+ jobs in Central Texas.

The GAHCC remains a key partner, supporting small businesses through programming, referrals, and advocacy. If you’re not yet a member, consider joining. Active participation strengthens our business community!

The list is ranked by the total number of companies to go through the program and also includes the number of cohorts to go through the program in 2023. To be considered for the list, listmakers must be able to disclose some program attendance information.

The list is open to programs with Austin-area operations. Information is gathered from ABJ surveys and news stories, company websites and phone interviews.
